This 60cm specimen (24 inches) is a single neck bone.  It belongs to a large fossil pterosaurs that had a very long neck.  The fossil comes from Rosaifa in Jordan and it was found in rocks of late Cretaceous age.

Not many remains have been found for Arambourginiana.  There are some fossil bones in the Leningrad Museum in Russia.  These pterosaurs must have been very large indeed, but only a few bones have been found.  This is not enough to be able to reconstruct this enormous fossil animal.

This fossil was originally names Titanopteryx, but it was found to be the same type as the Russian specimens and was later re-named.  This type of pterosaur is known as an Azhdarchid and others are better known, like the American Quetzalcoatlus northropi and the Russian Azhdarcho lancicollis.
